PESHAWAR: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari arrived Peshawar, capital of North West Frontier Province, on its first official visit this evening today. Fedrel Minister for Information Sherin Rehman, Fedral Intier Advisor Rehman Malike and Intier Sectary Kamal Shah were also along with president Zardari. He was warmly received by Governor NWFP Owais Ahmad Ghani and Chief Minister NWFP Ameer Haider Khan Hot at the Governor House Peshawar. President Zardari was briefed about the law and order situatin in tribal area and through out the province. Fedral Ministers Arbab Alamgir, Hameedullah Jan Afridi, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Najmuddin Khan, Farhatullah Baber and Chairman Benazir Support Program Farzana Raja were also present on the occasion. "Real and factual report about Fedrally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) should be presented that they may inform the world comunity about FATA true situati6", President Asif Ali Zardari addressed to the meeting. He further said that militants want to establish their own writ instead of government writ, and those will never let to succeed. Zardari said that only militants were not operational in tribel belt, the criminals, smugglers and fundamentalists are also involved in deteriorating the situation. Khasadar forces would be given incentives like police to combat terrorism, president Zardar added. He also stressed on providing facilities to Internally Displaced Peoples (IDPs).
