Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) is going to organize BCS ICT World 2008, a five days long ICT event from 17 to 21 November 2008.
On this occasion BCS has organized a Press Conference today at BCS Secretariat. On the very beginning Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity has introduced this year arrangement’s Convener and Vice President of BCS Mr. A T Shafique Uddin Ahmed, Secretary General Mr. Md. Zahirul Islam, Joint Secretary General Mr. Kazi Ashraful Alam, Treasurer Mr. Shaheed-Ul-Muneer and Directors Mr. Moinul Islam and Mr. Yusuf Ali Shameem.
In his introductory speech Mr. Jabbar has presented a brief description of this year’s arrangement. This year the theme will be ‘Towards Digital Bangladesh’. Convener Mr. Ahmed has presented his speech focusing different sectors of the fair to the present media personalities.
This year the fair is supported by ICT Business Promotion Council under the Ministry of Commerce of the Government of Bangladesh. ACER, BenQ and Microsoft will be the Gold Sponsor, AOC Monitor and
Nestle will offer free Coffee for the visitors. Faber-Castle will sponsor the Drawing Competition for the child and Agni Systems Ltd will be the official ISP for this year’s arrangement.
An entry fee of BDT 20.00 will be charged but students from can get to enter in the fair for free. Fair will be open from 10 am to 8pm for its visitors.
