Protest held in Jammu against PDD Minister & J&K Govt.

Jammu, October 11 (Scoop News) –Jammu & Kashmir People Democratic Party today hold a strong protest demonstration at Prade Chownk against State Govt for 17% hike in the price Electric Tariff by Which was lead by Vikram Singh, Girish Sharma, Pankaj Gupta, Sachin Sharma, Sonu Saini, Puneet Jamwal, Dimple Kumar, Chaman Angral,  Rajat Gupta, Sanjeev Khajuria, Pervesh Bali, Rohit Badyal  leaders of PDP.

PDP activists assembled at Prade Chownk to lodge a protest against hike in the price of Electric Tariff.  They flayed the state Government for burdening the common man by increasing the prices of Electric Tariff. They said the government has no concern with common men.

The PDP workers shouted slogans against state governments for keeping an ‘indifferent’ attitude towards common man.

PDP leader Vikram Singh Condemns decision of latest 17% tariff hike of electricity notified by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission He further criticized the this hike and termed as anti people decision which will directly affect the budget of common man in J&K which is already facing price spiral from the last many months.

Sachin Sharma said that Strong protests were needed to force the government to withdraw from moves to hike the prices of Electricity.

Girish Sharma said that due to the hike in power tariff, prices of all the commodities and services, would go up further and it would become even more difficult for the poor to eke out a living. This, he said, could lead to forced migration out of Jammu, and in turn impact the trade and business in Jammu.

Pankaj Gupta said "This is totally unwarranted hike. It will only break backbone of the already suffering common man.

Puneet Jamwal said that the Collation Government has proved that it does not care about the common man at all. This corrupt Government is neither interested in curbing price rise nor getting back black money."
