LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif Sunday said that Q-League is not a political party; it is a faction of those who salute the rising sun, instead.
He said this while talking to media at Lahore Airport before leaving for Karachi.
Urging media not to ask him questions regarding talks with Q-faction, Nawaz Sharif said that he deemed it beneath his status to enter into any sort of negotiations with PML-Q.
He said the upcoming general elections would witness a competition between fascism and democracy and ultimately democracy will emerge as victorious.
Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi today’s afternoon for a two-day visit; continuing light to heavy drizzle affected his reception at Karachi Airport, as workers of his party could not make a considerable appearance there. PML-N leader is scheduled to address a public meeting and visit Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum.
Sharif will then visit former Chief Justice Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui and Retired Justice Wajihuddin Ahmed at their respective homes.
He will also address a press conference at Sardar Rahim’s residence and will be attending a dinner at the home of Retired Justice Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim.
On Monday, Sharif will leave for Sukkur for a public meeting at Ghanta Ghar Chowk. The next stop will be the house of PML-N Sindh president, Syed Ghaus Ali Shah, to condole the death of his wife and son.
Sharif will address public meetings in Pannu Aqil and Ghotki en route to Punjab.
On December 25, PML-chief will enter Punjab from Sindh and will address the public gatherings in Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar.
