"The Libyan National Transition Council is the legitimate representative of the Libyan people" announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, on Monday.
A source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar said the state-run Qatar News Agency that the recognition of the provisional council drawn from its acceptance by the Libyan people.
Al-Jazeera said that although Qatar is the first Arab state to recognize the Libyan opposition, spending Qatar came with the blessing of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Ali al-Issawi, a former Libyan left in India, announced March 10 in Paris, France has acknowledged that "(Libyan transition), the National Council for the legal representative of the Libyan people."
The rebel leaders in Libya last week announced they have formed a transitional government wants to preserve its unity.
Rebel forces in Libya have gained ground on fighters loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to using a multilateral military intervention in favor of the resolution of the UN Security Council in 1973.
Resolution 1973, which was to maintain no-fly zone, Member States may "take all necessary measures in Libyan air" to protect civilians in Libya, from Gaddafi’s troops. The international community will discuss whether this means that the regime change, however.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said in a joint statement with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, that an international conference about Libya set for Tuesday will mark a new departure for Libya.
"Tomorrow, in London, the international community will come together to support a new point of departure for Libya," the statement said, "a new beginning in which the Libyan people are free from violence and oppression, freedom to choose their own future. "
