CHITRAL: Qimat Nazim Baig a prominent social worker while talking to local journalists he thanked Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtonhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti for releasing fund and approval of By pass road at Chitral. He said that this was long awaited demand of Chitral people. They also arranged for payment to owners of land. He also appreciated efforts of District Coordination Officer Chitral for controlling rate of firewood and selling it on approved rate. Hence he urged on architect and engineer staff  to remove unnecessary turns from by pass road because several turns causing for road mishaps. He demanded for a straight by pass road so as to save precious lives from accidents. Talking abut forests, river bed, mountains and pasture he said that according to  1975 notification these river bed, forests have been declared government property. He condemned conspiracy of some segments causing for hurdles in  the way of development and nuisance for government organizations. He urged on reassuming work on By pass road which has been suspended due to unknown reasons.  

 

Nazim Baig demanded for establishment of a university at Chitral because literacy ratio is high in Chitral as comparative in other districts. He also emphasized on eradication of corruption, obscenity, unemployment, drug trafficking and smuggling because these social evils are main hurdles in the way of development. Responding to a question about shortage of plan land he proposed for cultivating of Qaqlasht desert consisting on thousands of Acres of land. He also appeal for providing of wheat on subsidize rate at Chitral. Criticizing some Non Governmental Organizations he said that we never oppose of women education or job but Islam never allow a woman to have close company with a  stranger man and that is why we demand for separate accommodation and set up for women folk working in NGOs. He urged on all NGO working in Chitral to arrange separate offices for women in their offices.
