An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 on Monday occured in the Myanmar-India border, threating people in buildings to run outside.
It is learnt that the quake was centred just inside Myanmar, 130 kilometres (80 miles) from the Indian city of Imphal, the capital of the northeastern state of Manipur, according to the US Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of damage and death, except for minor cracks in buildings.
