Keeping up with its tradition of releasing new ranges every season, Raine & Humble has launched its latest spring collection ‘Country Lace’. The range succeeds the brand’s previous L’Abeille range release that went on sale during the first week of September 2013. Analogous to previously released seasonal collections, the Country Lace range comprises of aprons, ironing board covers, cushions, tablecloths, table runners, oven gloves, cotton bags and doorstoppers. Pokadot scarves are the newest addition to the range and they are available in four fresh colours including charcoal, raspberry red, powder blue and lime green.
Prior to release, a few pictures of the range were disclosed on Pinterest so as to provide a sneak preview to customers. The new range renders a cottage feel with a palette of fresh colours aptly representing beautiful French laces and fin crochets to deliver a modern look. In terms of fabric, the country lace collection is entirely made of high-quality Indian cotton washed thoroughly to provide a soft touch. The highlight collection is the Turkish tablecloth and scarf which engraves a splash of Polka dots placed along with hand drawn prints.
During the launch event, the brand’s Chief Designer Kerry Bower offered some insights on the brand’s design and the ways it could be used in home décor. She stated that the range comprises of hand drawn patterns to provide gift lace-esque appearance. On ways to use the range in home décor, Kerry asserted that the collections of the range can be used to brighten up homes during spring, especially after a long and dull winter. Finally, she insisted that the country lace apron was her favorite pick from the range due to its pinafore traditionalistic style.
The collection of the new Country Lace range is put up for sale on all Raine & Humble flagship and partner stores across Australia. To shop online and know more about the Raine & Humble store near your region, visit www.raineandhumble.com.
