Rajini has landed in the Himalayas today to offer his prayers to his spiritual guru Holy Baba. He will stay in the caves of Holy Baba for the next two weeks and returns to Chennai at the first week of February to attend the shooting of his next movie.
Every year without fail Rajni visits the holy towns of Badrinath, Kedarnath and Rishikesh in the Himalayan ranges. The Himalayas have been revered as the abode of divinity, since the dawn of Hinduism.
Several venerated pilgrimage sites dot the foothills and the peaks of the Himalayas. The Ganges, revered as a holy river originates in the glaciers in the insurmountable heights of the mighty Himalayan ranges.
According to Rajini’s secretary Sathyanarayana, it is a usual visit of the actor before launching a project. His last movie Sivaji was a super-duper hit not only in India but all over the world where the movie was released.
Rajini has gone to Delhi a couple of days ago to receive the prestigious award of NDTV Group presented by Dr Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India. After received the award, Rajini has caught a flight to Badrinath, and reached the caves by walk. A couple of his close friends are also with him.
