Jammu, December 30 (Scoop News) –Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs A. R. Rather condole sad demise of S. S. Ali former senior officers of the J&K cadre who passed away at New Delhi today.
In his condolence message, the Minister expressed his sympathy with his bereaved family and prayed for departed soul.
Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir and Minister of State for Home, Nasir Aslam Wani expresses condolence on the sad demise of S. S. Ali, former senior officer of the J&K cadre who passed away at New Delhi today.
In their condolence message, they expressed their sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for departed soul.
Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana has condoled the sad demise of Shri S.S. Ali, IPS (retd.) He said Ali was a people’s policeman who had great qualities of head and heart.
Describing Ali as a brilliant policeman, Rana said he was a kind hearted man, very cultured, civilized yet firm and committed to his duty. He recalled Ali’s contribution to the improvement of traffic management system in Jammu in early nineties and the activism that he instilled in the Home Guard and Civil Defense wing of the J&K Police. A sportsman at heart, he said, Ali was a sports promoter.
Rana spoke to Ali’s daughter and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Paying tributes to S. S. Ali, who passed away this morning at AIIMS, New Delhi after a brief illness, the Director General of Police (DGP), Ashok Prasad at a condolence meeting held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today, recalled the significant contribution of the former Additional Director General of Police to the State Police by dint of his hard work, leadership and guidance of head and heart. The DGP observed that Ali during his entire service career in the state at various positions left an indelible mark of efficiency and honesty.
Prasad said, the police organization has lost a distinguished senior colleague, who will be remembered for years to come. During the condolence meeting several senior police officers condoled the demise of Ali. A two-minute silence was also observed in memory of Ali.
Additional Director General of Police, Armed/Law & Order, K. Rajendra, who is away in Hyderabad, also paid rich tributes to the deceased colleague and conveyed his sincere sympathy to the bereaved family. He recalled his long association with Ali adding that his guidance in professionalism will continue to inspire us in our career.
