Jammu, June 04 (Scoop News) Several senior leaders and activists of J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) led by Prof. Bhim Singh today statrted long march from Palanwala bordering LOC along Chhamb to Samba district covering over 200 km area in Jammu and Samba districts to awaken the people of Jammu and Kashmir in particular and that of the country in general on the need of ‘Re-organisation’ of J&K, five day long march with the banner of Re-organisation on the basis of regional, geographical and cultural identity of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu.
Addressing several meetings on the first day in Palanwala, Khour, Jourian and Akhnoor, Prof. Bhim Singh Chief of the Panthers Party and other senior leaders called on the people particularly the youth to take up the movement for the Re-organisation of the J&K to end all forms of regional discrimination may it be delimitation of the constituencies, opening Jammu Central University, providing equitable relief to the Jammu Migrants, recruitment of educated unemployed youth in Jammu region, allotment of funds to each region, establishment of secretariat assemblies, allotment of the separate Budget and independent administrative authorities to each region. He be strongly advocated for separate Assemblies, Separate Budget, Separate Recruitment, and Separate Chief Ministers for each region. Panthers Party felicitated the newly elected Sarpanches and Panches in Khour and Akhnoor Blocks.
The prominent Panthers Party leaders accompanied by Prof. Bhim Sing who also addressed Panthers Party meetings included S. Daljit Singh (State Vice-President) Yashpaul Kundal MLA, H.C. Jalmeria Adv. and Ms Anita Thakur (General Secretaries), Faqir Nath Ex-MLA and Provincial President Jammu Province, Raghubir Singh Biloria Provincial Vice-President, Pushvinder Singh Manhas State Vice-President Young Panthers, Shanker Singh Sarpanch Secretary Farmers Cell, Shanker Singh Chib District President Jammu rural, Kamal Singh Jamwal District Vice-President Jammu city, Ashok Kumar District Secretary Jammu rural.
Prof. Bhim Singh also demanded immediate dismissal of NC-Congress government which has lost confidence of the people and has been surviving on oxygen supplied by New Delhi.
The Re-organisation march shall continue in Marh and Domana blocks on 5th June 2011, Vijaypur and Samba blocks on 6th June 2011 and Suchetgarh and R.S. Pura on 7th June 2011.
