Real Heroes: Paved a way to real solutions through their ground efforts and constructive ideas

Raghupal Singh Bhadauriya, Sarpanch from Kirthua Gram Panchayat, Karhal, Mainpuri, His father died when he just a one month new born baby. His father had just 0.5 acre land at name of property. Gradually, he grown in full of struggle and joined army. After a retirement, he worked for the last men for a long time. The circumstances and struggled paved him a man of constructive ideas, full of enthusiasm and fearless personality. I met him in Aug 2016 and had a long discussion how he is performing and what obstacles are coming in their way during ground work implementation. He politely answered that you have a strong will power, support of villagers, zeal to work and honesty for yourself, No one can stop you to perform for society. Just after 6 months of winning election, He made a number of RCC, Toilets and Colonies for poor, education center as well as ponds. I asked him how it is possible in such a short span of time. He answered when you will realize the power of democracy and act accordingly, nothing will be possible.

Industrialist turned Sarpanch, with a singular vision, which, unlike their predecessors, is determined to provide good governance and improve people’s lives. Their passion and destiny brings them into this challenging and proud job. After assuming office, as the ‘Sarpanch’ of Kankan Gram Panchayat in Mainpuri district, Uttar Pradesh, Their first order of business as the village head was to ensure that every family in the area was able to have basic amentias like education, medical and shelter. In a short span of time, Sarpanch made number of ponds and roads, renovation of schools and hospitals and head pumps. I asked them about stimuli which encouraged you to be a crusader. Sarpanch answered me honestly, I do not know how I am into this but nature sends me here to work for the last men. And yes! I’ll try me level best to work on ground with honestly, consistently and happily.

 

Priyanka, a master in fashion business from IIFT, a newly elected the 24-year-old ‘Sarpanch’ from Etawah’s Sarsai Nawar (village panchayat), seeks inspiration from Chhavi Rajawat, the woman sarpanch from Rajasthan’s Soda village, elaborates her plan of action at ground level to empower the villagers by giving the innovations in knitting and designing and other small scale livelihood jobs. My aim is not only to facilitate basic amenities like shelter for poor, roads, water, education and medical but also promote self-sustainability and self-dependency.
