Reaz Islam made CEO of LR Global Bangladesh AMC

Mr. Donald Laguardia Principle and Managing Partner of LR Global is pleased to announce that Mr. Reaz Islam will lead the asset management operations as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for LR Global Bangladesh Asset Management Company (AMC).
“I am excited about Mr. Islam’s appointment and history of leadership to explore opportunities and serve the local and offshore investors in Bangladesh,” said Mr Laguardia.  
Mr. Laguardia also said that the recent market turmoil has created significant opportunities for LR Global’s targeted emerging and frontier markets including Bangladesh as the company has a long history of identifying opportunities during uncertain periods on these strategic locations.
Mr. Islam has over 18 years of financial services and investment experience at Citigroup New York, including last 12 years as a CEO and Managing Director of Citi Fixed Income Alternatives, managing various innovative investment strategies for institutional and private clients.
Mr. Islam is also a Principal and Managing Partner for the LR Global New York.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and Masters in Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business.
