Recognizing the Contribution of Regular Blood Donors on World Blood Donor Day

Blood donation is a charity. There are so many people who are donating their blood for other people. Just think about a situation where you are badly in need of particular group of blood. You will definitely search for person with the same blood group.

So in order to promote and attract people towards blood donation, the World Blood Donor Day celebrations in Trivandrum this year will be marked by a function to recognize the contribution of regular donors. The function will be held on June 14 under the auspices of Terumo Penpol, State Bank of India, State NSS Cell and Club 25 to create wider awareness on the need for safe blood for transfusions and to thank blood donors for their gift of blood.
