Refugees condemn Obama for Kashmir statement

Real News Agency

Jammu:
Refugee Welfare and Educational Society Sunderbani has condemned statement of
US President Barak Obama that Kashmir is a long standing dispute between India
and Pakistan and US can do any role in resolving the dispute.

Chairman
Ram Chander Sharma criticized Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh for further
complicating the issue of Jammu and Kashmir and not raising issue of PoK (Pakistan
occupied Kashmir) areas, which are under the illegal occupation of Pakistan and
China as the area is more than 50% of Jammu and Kashmir.

US
President has only come for a business tour and has not uttered a single word
about terror training camps in PoK and other terror machines besides terror
emanating from that country and above all involvement of Pakistan in 26/11
Mumbai attack, Sharma said.

“It
is right time for India to put forward long pending demands of PoK Refugees to UN
Refugee bodies so that 20 lakh Hindu and Sikh Refugee minorities are settled honorably
under the international refugees’ law of Refugee Status of 1951 and
international humanitarian aid be provided to these refugees” Sharma said and
added that India is now an economic world power and it can put forward the
cause of refugees appropriately.

Sharma
urged Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to file a case of genocide against
Pakistan for the war crimes before International Court of Justice to punish the
perpetrators of genocide of PoK Refugees.
