<p>Reliance Brands, a high-end retail format under Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Retail Limited, is currently in talks with Louis Vitton owned subsidiaries Sephora and Bon Chic Bon Genre (BCBG) in an effort to augment the present luxury brand listing under the Reliance Brands format.</p>
<p>With a stead fast boom in personal and apparel luxury industry, Reliance Brands hopes to rope in more international brands to add to its list of high-end luxury brand tie-ups that include the likes of Diesel, Zegna, Timberland, Paul & Shark, Quiksilver and Steve Madden. Both Sephora, a beauty retailer, and BCBG, a high-end women’s clothing brand, will be targeted towards female customers from high-end segments catering exclusively to women’s wear, personal grooming and accessories category through Reliance Brands.</p>
<p>Sephora is a well-known beauty and hair care retailer from the house of Louis Vitton has a presence across 700 stores world-wide. Some of Sephora’s brands, including Body Shop and Lancome, are already available in India. Sephora’s entry will mark the installation of a multi-brand retail outlet for high-end beauty and personal care products. On the other hand, BCBG is a globally known trend-setter of a brand, donned by many celebrities and fashionistas alike. Both Sephora and BCBG, in association with Reliance Brands, will be able to reach out to the budding luxury segments of the country that is currently pacing at the rate of 8 per cent annually. Through a possible JV with one of India’s leading retail houses, both these brands will have a notable upper hand in reaching out to the target market much more easily.</p>
<p>Reliance Brands has been spear heading the cause of roping in high-end international brands in an effort to quench the ever growing demand for definitive and luxury items among Indian audiences. Sephora and BCBG will mark yet another feat for Reliance Brands on realization.</p>
