Speaking at the inaugural function of the summit in Tokyo, RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani expressed his views on building wholesome partnerships between his firm and Japanese SMEs by combining technology, maturity and expertise of Japanese businessmen with the immense potential of Indian youth. Mukesh Ambani also ascertained that future partnerships between two of the most powerful countries in the world will certainly create a win-win situation for both.

Mukesh Ambani also noted that partnerships should be scaled in a way to impact a cross section of people and improve their chances of benefitting from the purpose as against being restricted to large scale corporations and governments. Japanese delegates expressed their support for the same and said that the partnerships between India and Japan, in all probabilities, will exceed Sino-Japanese trade.

At the brink of having a debt ridden global economy, forging such partnerships has been sighted as one the most optimum ways of benefitting economies on a mutual level. Not only does this create an opportunity to share knowledge and processes, but also offers a support structure that can help companies and economies alike to break new ground and face up to the challenges better. As global economic functions move east, the world will now look to countries like India and Japan for inspiration and smart, economically sound actions.
