India’s well known company Reliance Industries has entered into a partnership with US-based real estate investment trust Vornado. This is a fifty – fifty joint venture. In this joint venture both the companies together will invest around five hundred million dollars in shopping mall joint venture.
The features of this joint venture are :
- Reliance Industries and Vornado will invest around 250 million dollars each.
- The joint venture will acquire, develop and operate retail shopping centers across developing cities in
India .
- The shopping centers will have an area of 500,000 to 1,000,000 or more square feet.
