More than five hundred mothers and senior citizens residing in the Parker Corner community in Browerville have begun benefiting from relief items being distributed by a local organization, Church Aid Incorporated.
According to Rev. Kortu Brown, the donation is the church’s way of identifying with the needy during the Christmas season. Items included pieces of bath soap, baby kits, blankets, toothbrushes and others. Rev. Brown put the total value of the items at more than five hundred thousand United States dollars. He said the items were given to the church by philanthropic organizations based in the United States of America.
Church Aid Incorporated is a relief arm of the New Water in the Desert Apostolic Pentecostal church providing humanitarian services to Liberians across the country.
