Special packages demanded for flood affected area of Mulkoh.

CHITRAL: A high level meeting of Youth Organization for protection rights of Mulkoh (Tanzeemi Nojawanan Tahafuzi Haqooqi Mulko) held here in Tehsil Headquarters of Mulkoh under the chair of Zaheeruddin president of the organization. All participants of the organization thanked to USAID and AKARP for providing them free seed of wheat and vegetable for flood affected vulnerable farmers of this union council. Preident Manager Zaheeruddin said that Mulioh is situated in the outskirt of most highest mountain range Terichmir. This is a faraway and backward Tehsil of the district where there is no facility of modern era and civics rights. The area also facing lack of job opportunities and livelihood means and sources and that is why people of this area are very poor and backward. Tremendous flood, continue rain has devastated standing crops and damaged cultivable land of people of this area. As well as vegetables, Orchard, firewood, forests, wheat crops etc were totally ruined by the flood and rain as a result inhabitants of the area plunged into whirlpool and faced numerous problems. Poor people of this area are facing great problems due to non availability of these essential good.

Now the winter season has been inter which caused for increasing in miseries and difficulties of these flood affected people. These affected people facing acute shortage of edible things, warm cloths, Gas cylinders for cooking and heating purposes. The organization during the meeting appeal to government and non governmental organizations, and international donors for consenting of special package for Mulkoh area so as to save these people from starvation and chilly cold weather. They also appeal for providing these essential required things to the area on subsidized rates for these vulnerable poor people.

Ufone distributed relief goods among neglected flood affected people of Golain valley.

CHITRAL: A highly spreading mobile company at Chitral Ufone mobile company distributed relief goods in 130 cottons among the neglected flood affected people of Golain goal valley. Zahid Bashir Awan Managing Director Franchise of Ufone Mobile company Chitral along with Qadir Naseer Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Chitral distributed these things consisting on Sugar, flour, pulses, rice etc among the flood affected people of Golain valley the most far away, remote and backward area of Chitral. Addressing on the occasion Zahid Bashir said that people of Golain valley badly affected by the recent flood as a result they stuck off for more than 3 months and there was no way for communication or any means of transportation and these people badly suffering from acute shortage of edible things. He said that customers are our king but despite the fact that there is no service of ufone in the scenic valley but even then we feel their grievances and wanted to contribute in the moments of this misery and difficulties and donating these edible things to bring relief for a short term in their lives. And that is why our company donated some relief goods consisting on edible things to provide them on their doorstep. We put our share with these affected people on the occasion of this naturally calamity he added. TMO Chitral Qadir Naseer thanked Zahid Bashir and ufone mobile company for donating relief goods especially to those one who were neglected in past turn of relief goods distribution. It is worth to mention here that Golain valley is situated among the high peaks of mountainous range having a very rough and earthen road and people of the area facing great hardships in transportation of essential commodities. A large number of people were present on the occasion. Some 130 cottons were distributed among the affected people at different parts of Golain valley.
