Sarawak,Malaysia; Wednesday.
When many countries are trying to improve their rating when it comes to changing leaders, some ledaers back home in Malaysia are trying to do the opposite.
It was reported that some leaders in the Peninsular Malaysia are so addicted to the glamour and glitters of power and resorted to lobbying for their children. These are leaders who are supposed to give way to younger leaders.
Many leaders who have served for two or three terms are advised to make themselves unavailable for this new election. Some readily withdraw from the selection process but there are some who insisted to stay on, claiming the people asked him to stay.
This is another obstacles faced by the top leadership in the National Front Coalition. Leaders have to be replaced from time to time. The process of grooming younger leaders is an ongoing process in this coalition.
However, with some leaders refusing to give way to younger leaders, a tussle is inevitable.
Sensing this negative development the supreme council for the coalition have placed the final say in the Chairman’s hand. The Chairman is none other than the Prime Minister himself.
