In a totally un-shocking non-turn of events, conservatives in New Hampshire do not embrace the state’s most recent legislation on the subject of gay marriage, a bill voted on by the legislature and signed on by Governor Lynch.
In a poll administered by Research 2000 for liberal blog DailyKos.com, 41-49% of 600 likely voters said they disapprove of gay marriage in their state. Similarly, a survey in Iowa showed 67% of 500 likely voters were in favor of a constitutional amendment to effectively ban gay marriage.
An un-named Republican constituent may have said, "Just ignore the poll’s incredibly small [0.016% of Iowa, 0.045% of New Hampshire] sample size and any nagging statistics lessons you may have learned in the past."
In other slightly-ironic news, at a GOP conference, Republican Dave Reichert aired a parody of a popular Lady Gaga song, entitled, "Just Tax," as a way to inform other GOP members of the need to use popular culture and new media to reach out to younger voters.
Perhaps they need to be informed Lady Gaga is a proponent of gay marriage?
