Reshun damaged by Flash Flood and lightning

CHITRAL:   Standing crops and orchard were destroyed when it were hit by flash flood after lightning at Reshum village some 50 KM from here. Booni Police told this scribe that irrigation channel was also confounded while wheat crop and trunks of fruits and orchard also  uprooted at Roman dor village (Reshun). Eye witness said that they heard a heavy blasting at midnight and after that flash flood ruined their land, cattle house, water mill etc. They flee away from the spot to save their lives. A  water channel irrigating 10 thousands Acres of land was also damaged and it is feared that might standing crops will be bather and dried due to no water. Those whose cultivation land and standing crops was damaged were identified as Kaka Jan, Muhammad Yousuf, Faqir Muhammad, Imtiaz Ahmad, Muhammad Ayum, Ameer Muhammad and Shahzada Khan Booni police disclosed. Some 500 families also badly affected by flash flood police added. Resident of the area demanded from provincial and federal government for compensation and to re-adjust them at some other safe place because the area is dangerous and 6 houses are directly in hit of flash flood. The only water mill was devastated by flash flood and now there is no source for crushing their wheat.
