CHITRAL:  To recognize and acknowledge importance of teachers a function was held here in Govt. Centennial Model High School Chitral to pay rich tribute to honest teachers and to encourage them for their noble cause. District coordination officer Chitral Rahmatullah Wazir was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over by Haji Siraj Muhammad Executive District Officer elementary and secondary education. The speakers paid rich tribute to those teachers who teaching their students with great enthusiasm and considering their students as their own children. They said that teaching is a profession of prophet and Islam also stressed upon teaching. EDO education said that there is no loophole for corrupt and those teaches who not perform their duty honestly. He said that we have sent their cases to high ups for terminating their services as well as their salaries also have been stopped. He said that you should to forget your past when influential teaches getting their salaries at their home and they never visited their schools. DCO Chitral said that we always appreciate and encourage honest and hardworking teachers but never spare corrupt one. And those who not perform their duty they are treacheries of the nation and the nation will never forgive them. Besides them Dr. Mir Afzal Tajik head of Professional Development Center of Aga Khan University, Muhammad Afzal General Manager National Commission for human development and other expressed their views. They said that talent need of no sophisticated building or luxury life but it depend upon a student hardworking and fond of education. They highly hailed those teachers who teaching their students honestly and who prepare great leaders. At last awards and commendations letters were distributed among the honest and hardworking teachers.  The speakers said that although Chitral is on third position in literacy ratio in our province but now we should to enhance quality education in the district by promoting standard education.
