The Trial of Richard Davis, charged in the murder of Marsha Spicer and a list of other crimes, is underway in Missouri’s Jackson County Circuit Court.
Jurors saw video on Wednesday that showed Marsha Spicer and at least one other woman tied up and forced into sexual acts. Richard Davis admitted to making the tapes. Authorities believe that in one of the videotaped scenes, Marsha Spicer dies. Members of the jury cried and hid their face while the disturbing video was played. Davis and his co-defendant Dena Riley seem to be laughing and enjoying themselves as they torture their victims
Richard Davis and Dena Riley are charged with the 2006 murders of Marsha Spicer and Michelle Huff-Ricci. If Davis is convicted, he could face the death penalty. Dena Riley will go on trial next year.
