Politico reports from the RNC donor event that their outline on Barack Obama if he is the Democratic nominee would be to attack his inexperience and his message. This attack against Obama would be inevitable. Both Democratic and Republican candidates have attacked Barack Obama on inexperience in Washington. US Democratic hopeful and co-frontrunner Hillary Clinton has attacked Barack Obama on inexperience.
The higher-ups within the Republican National Committee have decided to focus on Obama’s inexperience and messaging with no discipline as two methods to ensure that the US Democratic hopeful and co-frontrunner does not get to be elected United States President if he does win the Democratic nomination.
Major contributors to the RNC received a lot of information when it comes to methods used by the Republicans to fight against the Democrats come the race prelude to the general election. Issues important to the causes of the conservative voting bloc within the GOP have also been outlined as well.
The donors have met at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Such guests included Karl Rove.
At this event, the one major concern was how the Republicans could keep hold of the White House come November. Many jokes about Hillary Clinton were tossed around. However, that should sound hardly surprising as many conservatives tend to dislike Clinton. It was said in a few articles that Hillary Clinton is a good polarizer for the conservative base as they would get together and go against her.
“We all dislike Hillary,” Southern California Representative Ken Calvert had declared. He added: “Forgetting who will be the easiest to beat, I’ve got to tell you, a President Hillary doesn’t scare me nearly as much as a President Obama.”
The chairs of the RNC started the session with a presentation that has five strategic attacks to use against Barack Obama’s candidacy.
Strategy number 1 would point out the views of the Republican Party of contradiction between Barack Obama and the position of commander in chief.
Strategy number 2 would point out Obama’s time back in the Illinois state Senate in regards to his voting record and the pattern of voting ‘present.’ The chairs said that this could open up many questions that can be used to attack Obama’s candidacy.
Strategy number 3 would say to keep hope and that they can be confident amongst issues.
Strategy number 4 would attack the messages that Obama gives out. The messages were cited by the RNC and undisciplined and risky.
Strategy number 5 would be to attack Obama’s inexperience. That strategy has already been implemented.
The message by the chairs said: “His greatest weakness is inexperience. He is not ready to be president. He is not ready to be commander in chief.”
