Peshawar: Three rockets hit Peshawar city, capital of North Western Frontier Province of Pakistan, one landing on the roof of known nationalist leader’s house Bashir Ahmad Bilour. His house is located about 20 meters from the US Consulate.
‘One rocket landed on the roof of the house causing some damage but none was injured’ confirmed sources.
Another rocket hit an empty house and the third landed in a street but there was no any damage or casualty, said Peshawar police officials.
It is yet to be known who and why fired these rockets at the city. The incident has increased the fear and terror among the residents as the militants actively kill, behead and abduct in bordering areas. Intense situation in Swat, Waziristan, Bannu, Bajaur and Mohmand Agency is compelling people to leave for safer areas.
