Hon,ble Mr.Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar
Born 22nd March 1944,Passed B.sc from University of Sindh in 1966,LLB,from Law College,Lahore,University of Punjub in 1969,enrolled as Advocate in 1970 and practiced law for 25 years, elevated as Judge High Court of Sindh on 10th April,1995,elevated as Judge,Supreme Court of Pakistan on 28th april,2000,appointed Chief Justice of Pakistan on 3rd,November 2007.
In what could become a mass denial of rights of thousands of students throughout the country, the Federal Broad of Intermediat and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has illegally awarded extra marks and upgraded the examination results of the daughter of the country,s top Judge.
In indecent haste and under direct written orders of the Chairman FBISE,relaxing and voilating all rules and even some judgments of the Supreme Court, the Fsc result of student Farah Hameed Dogar was jacked up from 640 marks in Grade’C’ to 661 marks in Grade ‘B’,thus making her eligible to apply for admission into any medical college in the Country .
Documentary evidence available with the news ,Background interviews and on the record discussions with concerned officials of the FBISE establish that the Islamabad board went out of its way in the case of Farah Hamed Dogar by fast forwading the entire process of re-checking ,re-assessing and even re-marking her examination papers to her advantage and superceding thousands of other candidates who had obtained marks between 642and 660.
Experts of the system insist that rules do not allow the Chairman or any other authority to re-assess,re-examine,or re-mark the already mark papers to increase the obtained marks. In fact according to a notification of the FBISE dated July 24 ,2007 the candidates who wanted to improve their marks and grades had to retake the exams.
But very sad to say that the Daughter of The Chief Justice Of Pakistan ungraded her numbers in the voilation of the rules and law by Chief Law of the Country
In last i would like to thanks to Mr.Ansar Abbasi who brought this case in to the media and into the Pakistani nation.
