Russian politician confirms that ISIL received support from the United States and is now threatening Russia

“Of course we understand that this group initially received support from the United States because they fought with [Syrian President Bashar] Assad, but their game ended in creating a new monster. Now IS militants are threatening Russia, they make propaganda videos that are freely distributed on the Russian internet”, said Roman Khudyakov.

Russian politician Roman Khudyakov of the Liberal Democratic Party in Russia has sent an official letter to the Prosecutor General’s Office asking the law enforcement officials take measures propaganda films distributed by the Islamic State group.

The purpose is to curb the spread of Islamic extremism. “We must do all we can to fight this extremist group”, he said.

Khudyakov suggested that these films produced by the US backed Islamic State group (aka: ISIS) be recognized as” extremist (group) and access to them on Russian territory be blocked.”

“The group that call itself the Islamic State has already captured one third of the combined territory of Syria and Iraq. Using Islamist rhetoric they are killing all who disagree with them, they massacre Christians and Kurds,” Khudyakov said in an interview with popular Russian daily Izvestia.

Note: The US financed and trained many of the ISIS fighters in Jordan as part of a covert effort ran by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to topple the regime of Basjar Assad and prolong the bloody civil war in Syria which already has claimed tens of thousands of lives and created the largest humanitarian crisis in the world with an estimated 6.5 million refugees fleeing the country.
