Russian army troops invaded breakaway province South Ossetia and attacked on a Georgian army base by air raids, after Georgian army capture the capital, Tskhinvali of the breakaway province.
Georgia also warned Russia that they would not tolerate Russian interference in the issue.
Otherwise, they should prepare for war.
Georgian Official said that they also attacked on Russian aircrafts and bombed a convey of Russian tanks that moved into South Ossetia, the pro-Russian enclave.
Dozens of Russian tanks and military vehicles en route for the four-kilometre (2.5 mile) Roki tunnel, which leads into South Ossetia , an AFP reporter at the frontier said.
Three news agencies of Russia confirmed that Russian troops entered South Ossetia.
“We cannot allow the deaths of our countrymen to go unpunished. The guilty parties will receive the punishment they deserve,” Russia President Dmitry Medvedev said.
However, Georgian National Security Council warned Russia, if Russian troop will enter in this province then there may be a state of war between two countries.
At least 15 civilians were killed in the fighting, Georgian shelling and air attacks on Tskhinvali, South Ossetian officials said.
South Ossetia separated from Georgia in 1990 .Since it has been a constant source of friction between Georgia and Russia
