It is heartening to share that the usual holy cows of the press and media world can also be held accountable. After a a long spell of continued complaints, the management of Daily Times Pakistan ran out of patience and showed door on 29th September 2011 to two of Islamabad based staff members Mr. Saeed Minhas Resident Editor and Mr. Ikram Junaidi the Crime reporter. The action was taken on the complaint of a senior government functionary of Railways Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Bhatti. The duo was found engaged in a series of blackmailing and extortion exercise using the paltform of the newspaper.
