Provincial Minister Inaugurated ECD Center at Chitral town.
CHITRAL: NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan stressed upon the quality education and termed it dire need of the present era he was addressing on the opening ceremony of Nani (Mother) Early Child Development Center (ECD) at Chitral town. He said education is the first stair of development and no nation can promote without education. He said although Chitral is lying at 4th number according to literacy ratio in the province and 2nd in female education but quality education still need to be more promoted here. He said mentally growth of children is developing in the early age and need our attention as big leaders were always patronized after proper look after by their parents in early age. He hailed Nani ECD system of education for children from 3 to 5 years and need for implementation in government schools too. Because majority of our children are reading in government schools he added. He announced rupees 10000 for ECD center hence no government fund can be released to private centers.
Nani ECD center was working at Booni and was extended to Chitral by its administration. The opening ceremony of Nani ECD center was held here on Thursday Provincial Minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan Chitrali was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over by Maulana Jameeullah of JUI. The program was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Miss Saba Hussain. While Miss Shaista Sarwar presented Naath Sharif. Rahmat Nabi welcome to guest arrived here. A female school teacher demonstrated about teaching in a classroom. Miss Shahzia was stage secretary. Sultan Abbas explore children psycho and explain how we can teach and look after our children. As learning activities started in children from early age to 5 years and we should very carefully treat them.
Dr. Sardar Nawaz also stressed on quality education and termed it compulsory for development. District Nazim Chitral Haji Maghfirat Shah said while addressing on the opening ceremony of ECD Center that Islam is full code of conduct but its follower cab be wrong if not follow its principles. He said Islam also stressed upon learning knowledge continuously. He assured of his full support with the center. Later on Saleem Khan properly inaugurated Nani ECD center by unveiling plague of the center and offered Dua for its prosperity. Kashafat Younas Managing Director thanked all guests. The program was concluded with the prayers worlds of Maulana Jameeullah. A large number of parents especially mothers, elected representatives, and people belonging to all walk of life participated the opening ceremony. Nani ECD center was opened here jointly by Kashafat Younas Naib Nazim UC Charun, Noor Shaba an Education Officer at Booni, Dr. Sardar Nawaz and Rehman Nabi.
AFAQ launched 6 days training for master trainers.
Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ) launched a 6 days long TOT (training of trainers) at DHDC Danin. The participants both male and female belong to Aga Khan Education Service, Professional Development Center, Education Department and teachers from private sector. Some 25 people participated the training. Dr. Rahim, Assistant Manager AFAQ, Amer Zeb Regional Manager AFAQ, Zabihullah Teacher Educator and Zulfiqar Ali Khan coordinator AFAQ were facilitators of the training.
