Here are some key features of Samsung S8:

Design:

Samsung Galaxy S8 has won the design title of the year. It is the best phone you must have seen so far. The curvy phone slips smoothly in your palm and glitters with every light stroke. It comes in three color shades; Bright silver, grey with blue tone and dark black. The phone is slim and weighs only 155 grams. The phone boasts of two features; IP68 water & dust resistant.  The phone has a wide display which ultimately eats up all the space of the fingerprint sensor. So, the sensor is placed at the back of the phone, a feature that isn’t a plus point.

HDR on the phone:

The phone has a 2960 x 1440 resolution and comes with a ‘Mobile HDR Premium’ certification. This makes it easy for you to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime videos. This is an impeccable feature that a phone can have. Now you can treat your eyes with bright pictures with better contrast.  However, this feature doesn’t help much in terms of picture display.

Power:

The phone has amazing power inside. If you are in Europe & Asia you will get a phone with Exynos 8895 chipset, whereas for people in the USA the phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. However, this won’t make a huge difference as both the CPU are fast and steady.

Camera:

The phone does not show many upgrades in terms of Camera. There is a single 12-megapixel sensor at the back of the phone with f/1.7 wide lens. The camera employs dual-pixel tech which is an old feature of Samsung. The only noticeable change is the multi-frame image processor. The processor takes three shots every time you take a picture. This reduces blur and makes your pictures smarter.

Software:

With mature, angular and edgy screen icons the phone comes out as a great invention of Samsung. It has a stark white color theme that makes the phone striking and all the Samsung’s Native Apps are well adapted to the theme.  With this phone, Samsung has launched its rival to Siri, Bixby. The Bixby button enables you to get started fast and thus you are going to rely on this personal assistant soon.  The Bixby’s home also presents you news, notifications, steps, heart rate, preferred YouTube videos and much more.

So this is all we know about Samsung Galaxy S8 so far. The phone appears to be something different in the first impression, now the time will only tell where and how will this phone secure a place in the market.
