In July 2014, Samsung was planned to launch the first Tizen OS Smartphone “Samsung Z”, later on, this project was cancelled. But now Samsung is planning to release at least one Smartphone with Tizen OS. Recently, Samsung told that the first Tizen Smartphone would release by the end of the October. This South Korean company aims to crack the Google Android System with Tizen Operating System.
Tarun Malik, Samsung’s Director of Media Solutions Center, South East Asia, reported that the company planning to put out the new handset, but he didn’t pass on the details of the handset, As per Economic Times. Malik also said that we are probably late, but we are not shooting in the wild. This is game led by the manufacturers, not by the pipes (telecom operators).
Samsung give the specifications of the Samsung Z, before the project was shut down. It comes with the 4.8 inch HD super AMOLED with 1280X720 pixels. This device runs on the Tizen Operating system 2.2.1, with 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor. The primary camera comes with the 8 MP with auto focus and LED Flash, Secondary camera comes with 2.1 MP. The Samsung Z has the remarkable inbuilt memory of 16GB and it can be raised to 32GB through microSD card and 2GB RAM. The Samsung Z was very light, it was about 136 grams. The battery comes with 2600 mAh, which was doing similar to Galaxy S3.
In Sam mobiles point of view, that Samsung would launch the Tizen OS based on the SM-Z130E or SM-Z130H. Not many details know about the handset, but Samsung has already stated that Tizen OS will run on 256 MB of RAM, but we have to wait and watch for the other depth details.
Samsung believes that the Indian market is too vast to accommodate several handsets. Recently, Samsung launched the Club Samsung 2.0 in India which aims to offer local content to their users. Samsung also believes that the future of the Tizen OS depends on the ads and the competition of the handset goes through the content.
Samsung was planning to release the first Tizen Smartphone during the Diwali Festival in November in India. Yesterday, we came across the latest news on the Samsung Company A series, that they are planning to launch Galaxy A5. It also affirms that the cloth of the handset is Cold to feel, but it is not a metal nor plastic.
Moreover, Samsung is taking the risk on the Company’s future, though they are good in the latest phones of them. Recent releases of Galaxy Note 4, alpha and the upcoming project Galaxy Note Edge. We have to wait for the release of the Tizen Smartphone, until unless to give the exact review on the working of the Operating System.
