CHITRAL: Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan stressed upon all communities to must support and cooperate hospitals and health units at Chitral because government never can overcome all problems and never can fulfill shortage without the help of public. He was addressing a function at Tehsil Headquarters hospital Drosh (THQ) some 45 KM from here where a local Non Government Organization (NGO) donating 32 chairs to THQ hospital for its waiting room and Sartaj Ahmad Khan was chief guest on the occasion. He emphasized on Medical Superintendent (Medical Officer In-Charge) of THQ Hospital Drosh  to submit detail report of shortage of infrastructure so as to be sent it to health department in fresh Schedule of New Expenditures (SNE) for provision of these things to the hospital. He also directed health staff to run and exercise X-Ray machine to redress public problems. He suggested for  preparing a complete computerized presentation for briefing high ups of concern quarter for allocation of fund to the hospitals for fulfillment of its requirements. He also thanked local NGO for donating of 32 chairs for waiting room of this hospital. He expressed his concern over spending of 1 million rupees on construction of vehicle garage at the hospital, which de-beautified this hospital. He also hailed efforts and joint struggle of members of hospital support program (HSP) who play vital role in addressing of maximum problems in the hospital including purchasing of necessary equipments. Besides Dr. Yaqub, Mr. Qureshi, Jamal Nasir, Asfandiyar Khan Chairman Young Star Development Organization, Haji Shad a PPP worker and elites of the area also attended the ceremony. They complained of shortage of specialist doctors in the hospital as well as its only operation theater also lacking of latest equipments. They demanded for fulfillment of vacant posts of specialist Doctors and other staff lying since long and provision of latest machineries and equipments to this overburden hospital where people also coming here across the border.
