PPPP Senior workers rejected ticket holders candidates.

CHITRAL: Senior workers of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) rejected ticket holder’s candidate of PPP at PK 89 and NA 32 Chitral. Addressing a press conference former district Naib Nazim Sultan Shah, SP retired Saeed Khan Lal, Haji Inzar Gul, former Nazim Union council Sheshi Koh Sher Muhammad, AC retired Sardar Muhammad Khan, Haji Muhammad Shifa president Trucks Owners association, Habib Hussain Mughal president Trade Union Chitral, former Nazim UC Ayun Rahmat Elahi and other said that we are loyal workers of PPP but central leadership never counsel with its party workers during distribution of party tickets for election 2013. They said that we tried time and again to convince central leadership to distribute party tickets after proper counseling with workers but they ignored us. They said that former Tehsil Nazim Sartaj Ahmad Khan is a well known and popular leader of Chitral and that is why we proposed him as nominated candidate for PK 89 of provincial assembly seat. Haji Inzar Gul and Sher Muhammad said that during general election 2008 PPP ignored its worker and their candidate failed for national assembly seat. The said that they belong to Gujar tribe having 12000 votes which will be cast in favor of Sartaj Ahmad Khan. They said that we were cheated by our provincial leaders that they will come to Chitral and will solve this issue but they not came and changed different date. They warned giving the deadline of 2 days if party ticket for PK 89 was not taken back from Saleem Khan to give it to Sartaj Ahmad Khan they will badly defeat PPP candidate on this constituency in general election 2013. A large number of people belong to different walks of life assured fully supporting Sartaj Ahmad Khan on this occasion. Former Nibe Nazim Sultan Shah also announced to withdraw from PK 89 as candidate in favor of Sartaj Ahmad Khan.
