Saudi Arabia is the main center leading the terrorist attacks in Russia, providing both “financial and logistical support”, report suggests

Image made from a video posted online Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 by an Islamic militant group, with Saudi ties asserting responsibility for suicide bombings last month that killed 34 people in Volgograd, Russia. The two men, identified as Suleiman and Abdurakhman are identified as members of Ansar al-Sunna, a Saudi funded al-Qaeda affiliate organization known operating in Iraq responsible for dozens of terrorist attacks that have killed hundreds.

“There are unconfirmed reports that Putin and his senior intelligence officers have already drawn up plans to “destroy Saudi Arabia” over its systematic sponsoring of terrorism on Russian territory”, according to Press TV report. Press TV  is a 24-hour English language news organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB).

Its headquarters are located in Tehran, Iran.

It cites “an informed Russian official source”, reported by the Fars News Agency , that Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has informed President Vladimir Putin of the “Saudi link to the Volgograd massacre.”

The Volgograd massacre is just the latest in a long string of deadly terrorist acts connected to “Saudi-sponsored” radicals in the North Caucasus. Back in October, another suicide bomb on a packed bus in Volgograd left six people dead.

The group believed to be behind these and other suicide attacks, including those “Black Widow ” attacks is known as the “Caucasus Caliphate”, led by Doko Umarov – perhaps the most wanted man in the world right now.

Based in Chechnya and Dagestan, Doko Umarov has publicly stated that “all means necessary would be used to derail” the Sochi Olympics.

The same network is believed responsible for suicide bomb attacks on Moscow’s metro system in 2010 and 2011, which caused dozens of civilian deaths, including women and children.

Combined over 100 people have been killed thus far in Russia by the Saudi linked terror group.

“Saudi Arabia is a major source of funds for the Caucasus Caliphate, which espouses the same
extremist ideology as the Saudi-sponsored Takfiris operating in Syria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Yemen and Iraq” (source: http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/01/13/345300/will-putin-destroy-saudi-rulers/).

The evidence that Saudi Arabia may be funding the terror group comes in the form of “documents and intelligence information.”

According to the Fars news report:

“The FSB has gained some important documents and evidence on the background of the terrorist attacks conducted by the ‘Black Widows’ in Volgograd,” the Russian official, who asked for anonymity due to the sensitivity of his information, told FNA.”

“The FSB has presented some documents to President Putin which show the multi-layer internet connection lines as well as the recruits and hirelings of the group in Britain, the UAE, Lebanon and Turkey,” he said.

“The Russian official underlined that Saudi Arabia is the main center leading the terrorist attacks in Russia, and said the report submitted to Putin by the FSB also includes details of Riyadh’s financial and logistic support for the Black Widows” (source: Official: Saudi Arabia behind “BLack Widow” attacks in Russia http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13921021000728).

The unidentified source said a main part of these “undeniable proofs and intelligence” was collected using the Russian spy agencies’ agents (SVR) who had infiltrated the Saudi-led terrorist groups.

Earlier reports had disclosed that Saudi Intelligence Chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan had supposedly ordered the recent two Volgograd explosions in Russia which killed 32 people.” If true it could spell a world of hurt for Bandar and Saudi Arabia – a major ally of the United States who supports the Saudi regime (despite reports linking Saudi funding to al-Qaeda and Taliban groups operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan which are slaughtering American troops in the region).
