In the last week of September 2012 the Associated Press, BBC reports published in different sites and News Papers on the ancient Buddhist statue weighing about 10.6 kilograms and 9 inches height that the Nazi’s Great Schaefer expediton found at Chinese-Tibetan boarder in 1938 stated to be manufactured with that of meteorite element and other details revealed by Dr.Elmar Buchner of University of Stuttgart were rather confusing, as they have related the statue to Buddhism – probably for not having sufficient information on the “Indian Sanatana Dharma” or Ancient (Hindu) Vedic culture” and its background dated back ‘Kritayuga’ (the genisis period of Universe billions of years ago).
The Photo of the statute published in A.P. and BBC sites on 27 September 2012 and the facial features of the statue clearly reveals that the statue neither belongs to Buddhist religion nor that of Genghis Khan (they thought it as Genghis Khan because it possessed beard) as reported in the articles. Dr.Elmar Buchner claimed that the statue belonged to Buddhism. But after looking carefully into the photographs released to press it does not appeared to be of Buddha or Buddhist religion. But Bhuddists also accept Hindu Gods. But, Dr.Buchner also doubted that the statue could be of ‘Vaisravana’ belonging to Buddhism. But Vaisravana is a God belonging to “Sanatana Vedic Dharma” (“Sanatana Vedic Dharma” was subsequently called as “Hindu” religion after taking several twists, turns and distortions in the hands of some people in the course of presenting ancient history, therefore herein after I use the word Hindu religion below to avoid further confusion). But one thing is true that Hinduism, Buddhism and Jaininsm the three are inter-related religions and God Buddha was considered to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Vaisravana was called by Jains as Sravanabhuti.
To reiterate once again Dr.Buchner’s suspicion that the statute could be that of “Vaisravana” was correct but it belongs to Hinduism. The 9.6 inches statute as it is seen from the photographs published have got all the features of the God Vaisravana or Kubera (the God of wealth) in Hindu religion. Visravana’s statue’s left hand was carrying a ‘Kalasa’ (auspicious money-pot). The ‘Swastik’ (equilateral cross with four sides bent at right side) as shown on the stomach of the statue generally used on the flags and palms of deities in ancient Hindu religion especially on ‘Kalasas’, while performing vrataas or pujas in austrity. ‘Vaisravana’ or ‘Kubera’ is the son ‘Visravasu Brahma’ and grand son of ‘Pulasya Brahama’ and Great Grand son of ‘Kasyapa Brahma’ (Kasyapa Brahma (Prajapati) had 13 wives viz., Bruhati, Aditi, Diti, Kadruva, Vinata, Prabhadevi, Kumudini, Swarnaprabha, Kaladanda, Meghadanda, Dhatuprabha, Sumavanti, Parvati) and they gave birth to different Biodiversity in the nature such as Deties, Demons, Rakshasas, Siddhas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kinneras, Kimpurashas, Pisachas, Sakini, Dhakini, animals, trees, birds, snakes, bacteria that existed in water, on earth and in atmosphere and the mountains and metals, etc., to say simply all bio and non-bio diversity generated out of them (this contention had a lot of explations in detail in support of it). Among them ‘Vaisravana’ belonged to ‘Yaksha’ category. Yakshas generally do not possess four hands. As seen from the photographs of statue it possessed only two hands. The face of Statue also seems to have possessed only one eye clearly and the other one is not clear, so it could be understood that it has only one eye. As per puranas Vaisravana possessed only one eye and it was green in color due to the curse given by Godess Parvathi.
Vaisravana or ‘Kubera’ means a person having small personality and one who preserves and protects the wealth. Because he happened to belong to Yaksha category, he possess small beard. Yakshas generally possess small beards. He has got 17 other names viz., Triyambaka sakha, Yaksharat, Guhyakeswarka, Manuskhyadharman, Dhanadhaha, Rajarajaha, Jakkulareydu, Dharadhipaka, Kinnereswaraha, Vaisravana, Poulasthyaha, Naravahanaha, Yakshaha, Ekapingaka, Ekachakshuhu, Ilabilaha, Sridaha, and Punyajaneswaraha. He is Turangavadanaha, that means he is having traits and similarities in his face that of horse. In the ‘Tattariyopannishad’ in the ‘Mantrapushpam’ in the last lines the name Vaisravana was referred as ……..Rajadhi rajaya prashya sahinay; Nomo vayam Vaisravanaya kurmahay; Samay kaman kama Kamaya mahyam Kameswaro Vaisravano dadathu; Kuberya Vaisravanaya Maharajaya namaha. Therefore undoubtedly the statue found could be of ‘Vaisravana’ the Hindu God. Hindu Vedic mythology also states that Vaisravana or Kubera was having a flight called ‘pushpaka vimana’ presented to him by Lord Shiva, which was subsequently taken away from him by his male cousine ‘Ravana Brahama’ and also his Golden city called Alakapuri, build by Divine Sculptor Viswakarma was also taken away by him and that was subsequently called as Lankapuri, the present day Sri Lanka. Later ‘Vaisravana’ shifted towards north side and built ‘Alakapuri’ that probably could be somewhere in the region of Himalaya Mountains or present Chinese Central Asia in Xinjiang province or near by its places, when the entire sub-continent was unified as one.
Next coming to the metal aspect of the statue of ‘Vaisravana’ found by Schaefer Expediton, it was probably made with a metal called ‘Kanchu’ but may not be with any other material of Chinga meteorite dated back to 15,000 years ago as reported. Because when the entire earth was undivided, there existed a community called Daiva Brahamanas or Sculptor Brahmanas (Refer the books of Sir Alfred Edward Robert in which he stated that Aryan race first existed in Mahameru –Golden mountain on which as said by Professor Wilson one ‘Twasta Prajapati’ built a city called ‘Tejovarthipuram’ and neary by it ‘Swetabhoomi’ i.e. white island existed and a Daiva Brahmana viz., ‘Sweta’’ that means a person having white skin with Swetaswa having White Horse, with Sweta Sikha means having white hair with Swetalohita means having white blood travelled towards Sweta dweepa) who were creators of forts, temples, idols, forts, weapons, statues, and other materialistic objects with the “panchalohas” (mixture of five metals) or ‘Kanchuloha” a mysterious metal that was created with bio-chemical metellargical process in their factories. The present day scientists even today are unable to find out the materials with which the very ancient Hindu idols, statues and weapons were made, that material also evades recognition by the present day Radar Technology. They used to manufacture the idols with such mysterious metals on the earth itself.
Great Indian Scholor Viswanatha Satyanarayana (Emparor of Indian Poetry a Vaidic Brahmin) mentioned about greatness of Ancient Indian Sculptor Brahmins in his introduction to Dharmapala Vijayam Book (Refer the book Victory of Dharmapala or Dharmapala Vijayam written by Bommakanti Prabhakara Shastri about the then great Indian Sculptor Brahmin viz., Dharmapala and his three sons existed in Kalayana Nagar in Malava Kingdom presently located in the Eastern Punjab in Pakistan). They used to manufacture idols, weapons, temples and other artifacts with a metal known as ‘Kanchu’ a highly precious metal. Sri Pada krishnamurthy Sashtri a former Andhra Pradesh State Official Poet also mentioned about the mysterious powers in manufacturing weapons, idols, mirrors, chariots, and several other materials with a material called ‘Kanchu’ (in those times ‘Kanchu’ was the metal more precious than Gold as it was manufactured with some biochemical forumals and other metals). They used to manufacture ‘mirrors’ in which you could see even the most invisible spots of your face not found when seen with open eyes. In those mirrors you could see your face from front and the person who stood behind the mirror could also see your face – that was the miracle and mystry of those mirrors without having any outer layers on either side of the surface. Those mirrors were made with the metal called ‘Kanchu’ and were sold to public by Dharmapala and his sons in “Kancheepuram” located in present day Tamilnadu state in South India during the period of Chola Kings.
Dharmapala and his three sons with a view to sell their artifacts, weapons and other material travels towards South India and reaches Kancheepuram, the present day Kanchi city. People of Kancheepuram on seeing their artifacts etc., gets surprised of their skill and miraculous powers. King Parimala Chola’s daughter demands Dharmapala to give the mirrors to them free of cost. When they refused, the king orders them to pay taxes for their sold material, for which Dharmapala and his three sons viz., Rudrasen, Bhadrasen and Indrasen declines.
Then King Parimala Chola on the advice of his minister Sunkara Suranna sends their soldiers to get them forcibly. But in the war with Rudra, Bhadra and Indrasen, King’s Soldiers gets defeated. Subsequently more solders get killed in the hands of three sons of Dharmapala, as their weapons were indomitable. With their inability to conquer the three sons of Dharmapala, Parimala Chola’s Minister Rammanna goes to Guru Shankara who advises them to conquer them by inviting them on Friday evening on the pretext of compamise, as they keep their weapons aside at the feet of Godess Kamakshi and do not touch weapons on Fridays. On the advice of Guru Shankara, King and his minister contrives a plot and invite all the three for compromise. They keep their swords and other weaposn at the feet of Godess Kamakshi and go to meet the King. On observing that they were not carrying weapons, King and his soldiers beheads all the three Sculptor Brahmins. But their heads raises to top and starts gyrating in the sky of the city scaring everyone. On seeing the incident King Parimal Chola and all his follower gets scared and his kingdom also begins to flare up from another side with big fire. Then they pray Guru Saankara for solution to the ongoing destruction, who in turn prays Godess Kamakshi regretting for the wrong advice given to King. But Godess Kamakshi does not relent for Guru Shankara’s prayers and orders him to pray Dharmapala along with the King and his followers. Then Guru Shankara prays Dharmapala and praises his powers as directed by Godess Kamakshi. Then Dharmapala prays Godess Kamakshi. Getting pleased for the prayers of Dharmapala the Godess Kamakshi directs Dharmapala to bring a plate and tells him to call the three heads of his sons to come down and assures him to make them alive. On behest of Godess, Dharmapala did the same and three heads of Rudrasen, Bhadrasen and Indrasen comes down and Godess makes them alive. Then Dharmapal prays the Godess Kamakshi as “Amba kachajitarolamba yadrijata; Aja hareendradinuta charanambu jata; purajanambula brovumumo punya charita; Kancheepuramayputattlu nirnminchu mataa. The meaning of the prayer was Oh Mother Godess who is being prayed and priised by Lord Vishnu, Indra and other deities, show mercy on the people of the Kancheepuram and reconstruct it as before, mother”. Then Dharmapla and his three sons distribute all their belongings brought with them to the public and leaves Kancheepuram. To remember this history even today the portraits of three heads of the Rudrasen, Bhadrasen and Indrasen were carved at the feet of Godess Kamakshi (in ancient Kali Temple where the incident happened during the peiod of Chola Kings) could be seen at the feet of Godess.
So the contention that the present ‘Vaisravana’ statue made from some meteorite objects may not be accurate, because the ancient Vedic history, literature and knowledge that existed in India was not completely delved by Western Historians or Archeologists from correct perspective. The then Sculptors who left ‘Jambudweepam’ (the present Indian sub-continent) in their flights and ships towards Greece, Rome and Germany, unable to bear the jealousy and atrocities of the then Kings and their crooked ministers went to different places all over the world, were having unimaginable mysterious powers to build Forts, Temples, to carve Sculptors, to manufacture weapons, Chairots, flights, and other materials with mysterious metals. So the statue of Vaisravana could have been made with some mysterious metal made by those Ancient Indian Sculptors some thousands of years ago, on earth itself was found by Nazi sponsored Schaefer expedition around 1938, but may not be from any other meteorite objects. (I tried my best to present the article, by referring certain ancient literature, but may contradict with the other available literatures, as history was always based on certain assumptions and probabilities as nothing was passed on to the present generation accurately, unless and otherwise solid inscriptions were found. dchaitanya)
