Scholars, Ulemas & large number of people participated in Seerat Conference

 

 Srinagar, May 24 (Scoop News) –     Amidst spiritual atmosphere of historical Aali Masjid, a magnificent Eid-i-Milad function was organized in the lawns of Eid-Gah at Aali Masjid today. Scholars, Ulemas and large numbers of people of the area, students of new Bonvivant school and their parents attended the function.

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir,  Asghar Samoon and Director Information Renzushah were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour at the function.

The trophies were presented to Renzushah for his contribution in naming Srinagar as Sher-i-Khas and trophy was presented to Divisional Commissioner for his extra ordinary contribution in the development of the area.

Students of various schools and education institutions under the banner of new  Bonvivant school recited Naat and received applause from general public on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion,  Samoon appreciated the organizers for organizing such a massive seerat conference at a place which has historical importance. He said that it is Hazrat Amir-i Kabir, Mir Syed Ali Hamdani Sahib who devoted this precious place for Eid prayers and other spiritual activities. He said the contribution of great saints from Hazrat Bulbul Shah, Amir-i- Kabir Shahi Hamdan, Makhdom Shah, Hazrat Peer Dastgeer, Saint Sheikh-ul-Alam, Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani and thousands of such great saints has made this valley   abode of saints. He said that Divisional Administration will also award best students who will prove their mettle in Naat Khani in divisional level competition function.

The Director Information Kh. Farooq Renzushah while appreciating the organizers and the people of the area for their acknowledgement to his contribution in sher-i-  Khas while working in different capacities said that Sheh ri- Khas has its golden chapter in the historical books. He said that great saints chose each nook and corner of Sheh-ri- Khas for their spiritual meditation and spreading the concept of love and brotherhood. He expressed his thanks to all concerned for playing a vital role in rebuilding the holy shrine of Hazrat bulbul Shah and mausoleum of Hazrat Sultan Sadr-ud- Din at Bulbul Lankar which is adjacent to Id- Gah. He said that we have to play a vital role in reviving the lofty principles propagated by great saints and Awlia Kiram and organizing these seerat conferences provide an opportunity to new generation in learning the moral education and high values of life.

On this occasion  Ghulam Hassan, Chairman Aali Masjid Committee, Nazir Ahmed Chairman New Bonvivant school, Sajad Ishwari,  Ghulam Hassan Gamgin, Shah Sahib and various other scholars and Ulemas also spoke on the occasion.

Both male and female students who recited Naat Sharief were given trophies and awards. J&K Bank also collaborated on whose behalf trophies were given to the best talented students.
