Srinagar, September 14(Scoop News)-Secretary School Education Hirdesh Kumar Singh has sought views, ideas, inputs and experiences of the Civil Society particularly from students and teacher community, legal fraternity, academics, educational planners/administrators, RTE activists and media professionals for amendment in J&K School Education Act 2013.
The said draft seeks to incorporate essential elements of the Central legislation “Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009” in respect of affording children free and compulsory education up to Class 8th.
