Bangladesh Army has entered the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) headquarters in the hunt for missing officers.
Army troops, backed by tanks, entered the BDR compound Friday morning.
The situation at BDR head quarters has calmed down. But there is still no news about the missing high rank officers. The rescue & search mission continues as well as search for dead bodies. Army, police, RAB & dog squad are searching for dead bodies of the missing officers inside BRD head quarter.Navy divers also arrived at the BDR headquarters. The compound is now being searched for more than 137 army officers. Speculation are they have been shot & killed after wards they were burned & throne in ponds, man hole & cannel.
The guards surrendered on Thursday after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina threatened to put down the mutiny by force and sent tanks into the streets of Dhaka.
