Second Auction of IPL sales starts today
On Friday the second season of the multi-million dollar Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 tournament starts in Goa today. It is not going have a thrill like last year. Clarke announced his unavailability for this season. The successful negotiations with the England and Wales Cricket Board give some more confidence to the second season.
Lalit Modi the Indian Premiere League Chairman said, “It is now confirm that Pakistan government has denied permission to its players from visiting India and hence IPL franchises have the right to suspend or terminate their contracts.” He add “Terminating a contract will throw open the slot for the franchise team and they can bid for a new player from the selected pool of 115 players.”
Seventeen players will be acquiring in the second IPL auction out of 50 “A total of USD 13.59 million dollars could be spent in the auction,”
