Security forces busts a hideout of militants at Banihal

Jammu, May 19 (Scoop News) –       A joint columns of 23 Rashtriya Rifles, 159 Infantry Battalion Territorial Army (H&H) and JK Police launched a search operation in General Area Kurji Forest, Tehsil – Banihal and District  Ramban in Saturday morning.  A natural cave type hideout with dimensions 10 ft x 6 ft x 4 ft with an entrance of 1 ½ x 2 sq ft was busted.

 Defence spokesman saiud that arms and ammunition were recovered including AK 47 Rifle    -01,Sniper Rifle   -01,12 Bore Rifle   -03,Sniper Mag    -02,UBGL Launcher   -02,UBGL Grenade   -06,AK Mag    -06, Chinese Grenade  -04,Pika Belted Ammunitions   -300 rounds,Radio Set (Make unknown) -01,Electronic Detonators  -20,AK Ammunitions    -1000 rounds,IED Battery Box   -08,IED Switch    -02,IED Remote   -01,Plastic Explosive Cylinders -08,Plastic Explosive   -01Kg,Matrix Sheet   -02,Trip Wire    -05,RPG Rounds   -01,Phone Dairy   -01,Pak Currency   -2000 Rupees,Dry Rations   -05 Kgs,Cylinder    -01 (05 Kg),Blankets    -02.
