Seminar on Copyright Protection and Protest Piracy

The Ministry of Culture of the government of Bangladesh has organized a seminar on “Copyright Protection and Taskforce to protest Piracy” on September 13^th, at BIAM Auditorium.
Ms. Rasheda K Chowdhury, Advisor, Ministry of Culture, Government of Bangladesh was present in the seminar as the Chief Guest. In her speech she has mentioned various steps taken by the current government to protect the copyright law in Bangladesh.

The seminar was presided over by Mr. Sharful Alam, Secretary of Ministry of Culture. In his speech Mr. Alam has quoted governments steps taken by the acting taskforce to prevent piracy in Bangladesh.

Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity was also present in the seminar. He has emphasized on treating the user and manufacturer of software to establish the copyright culture in Bangladesh properly. He also argued to think about the economic condition of the computer users of Bangladesh on pricing any software.

This is to mention that recently Government has build-up a strong and active taskforce to prevent piracy and maintain the copyright law in Bangladesh.
