He said during his six years tenure as Minister and 10 years as MLA, Akhnoor constituency not only get executed major developmental schemes and projects but has ensured providing all basic civic amenities in Akhnoor town where connectivity, Health, Education, Drinking Water Supplies and other facilities provided. One Degree college , four Bridges, 11 Higher Secondary Schools, 09 Tube Wells in city with Backup system get commissioned on war foot, which speak for itself volume about his vision for Akhnoor who elected him twice as their MLA with overwhelming leads.

Sham Lal Sharma claimed His Vision for Akhnoor which has been translated into ground realities witnessed by the people need popular mandate as none else approaching masses for vote would present as probably they even seen 139 polling stations not to talk about their any credibility.

He asserted being Akhnoor representative made this town historical and hub of religious activities with popularly called Second Haridiwar in India, restoring its rich historical heritages developed and given new face lift to attract tourists from other parts. Chenab River and its adjoining vicinity provided RCC sheds, Tourist Reception Centre, Parks and Gardens, Walkers’ paths. Sharma recalled how World spiritual Guru Dalai Lama has been impressed with their Akhnoor Town visited and returned with his sweet memories.
