Srinagar, November 18, (Scoop News)- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Tuesday announced the candidature of two candidates, Yawar Mir for Rafiabad assembly constituency and Zaffar Meraj from Habbakadal, a PDP Spokesman said.
Zafar Meraj is a noted journalist and eminent member of the civil society.
Mr Yawar Mir is a young politician who has been involved in managing the constituency for last three years. He has done degree in law from a leading institution of the country. He has worked with many top law firms of the country and has for some time been associated with the party affairs.
Mr Yawar has been taking active part in the youth wing of the party and has been responsible for the involvement of educated youth with the party activities in the Rafiabad constituency and the adjoining areas.
