On Tuesday evening in between 7.20 pm and 7.35 pm, the beautiful pink city shocked by serial bomb blasts. Seven bomb blasts during this period, which took life of atleast 80 people and injured hundreds.
The bombs planted in cycles and placed in crowded area of the city.
First bomb was blasted at crowded Johari bazaar area at 7.20 pm, then second bomb was blast at Badi chaupad, Hanuman mandir, where a large number of devotees gathered at that time.
The number of casualties’ increases if police did not defused three bombs, two out of three bombs found in Johari bazzar and one bomb found in Raja Park.
Indian Mujahideen, a little known terrorist group has taken responsibility of this bomb blast. They have also taken responsibility of bomb blast in Uttar Pradesh state of India in November 2006.
