Seven Taliban Militants Killed in Khost

 

According to reports aired by state owned media in Pakistan on Tuesday, information minister Ms Sheri Rehman has said that meeting of PPPP lead coalition leaders will be held on Tuesday evening in Islamabad to finalize the modalities regarding election of new president for Pakistan and to decide about future course of action regarding fate of ex president Musharaf and restoration of deposed judges of supreme court. She has said that resignation of dictator Musharaf is victory of democratic forces in Pakistan and for cause of democracy Muhtarima Benazir Bhutto Shaheed had rendered her life.

 

On Monday evening Mr. Parvez Musharaf had formally handed over his resignation to speaker national assembly madam Fahmida Mirza, people in Baluchistan in particular and rest of Pakistan in general had celebrated Mr. Parvez Musharf’s unceremonious ouster from presidency which was earlier predicted  in media reports published in Pakistani news papers and were termed baseless by General Rashid Qureishi.

 

In Kohat district PML (N) local leaders and workers had held a rally to celebrate his resignation and on Tuesday morning sweets were also distributed among lawyers in Kohat courts to celebrate resignation of Mr. Parvez Musharaf.

 

Baluch men interviewed on international media have jointly said that Musharaf did only one good act in his lifetime and that was his resignation. On BBC ambassador of Pakistan to USA was heard, as saying that elected leadership of Pakistan will continue its war on terror in best interest of Pakistan.

 

‘Meanwhile seven Taliban militants are killed in Khost province of Afghanistan in an armed clash with NATO Forces on Tuesday,’ it was unveiled by a BBC broadcaster.

 

’23 persons are killed in suicide bomb attack on emergency ward of hospital in Dera Ismaeel Khan, and 23 others are killed in Kurram agency armed clashes between rival tribes on Tuesday,’  it was unveiled by state owned media in Pakistan.
