Srinagar, February 14, (Scoop News)_Felicitating Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) on the festive occasion of Maha Shivratri, Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah, has said that we are working on the ‘home return’ of Pandits and feel their absence in valley.
In a statement on Saturday, Shah said Kashmir is incomplete without Pandits who are the “second eye of a beautiful bride”-Kashmir.
“If one eye is excluded from the face, the whole beauty will be spoiled,” he said and extended his “fervent appeal (request)’ to Pandit brethren to return to their native land.
Reminding the cultural proximity between two communities Shah said that Kashmiri Muslims and Pandits share common culture, tradition and civilization.
