Booni Bar Association election held. Ghulam Mustafa elected president of Cabinet.
CHITRAL: Annual election of Booni Bar Association held at Bar Room Booni some 75 KM from here. The annual election was held under supervision of Khwaja Nizamuddin Advocate interim president of Association. Ghulam Mustafa advocate was elected president of Booni Bar Association unopposed. The following members were elected for present cabinet. Ghulam Ali Shah vice president, Nizar Ali Khan Advocate Secretary General, Khalil Ahmad Baig Advocate Finance Secretary and Sahibqar Hussain Advocate Librarian. These all members were elected unopposed. Shahzada Ziauddin Ali of Chitral joins PPP. CHITRAL: Shahzada Ziauddin Ali, founder member of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in Chitral announced his joining the PPP in the presence of the members of the reorganizing committee for Malakand Division. He declared his families services for the people of Chitral. His mother was the first MPA from Chitral in 1977 (during Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto regime).
His father,s service was terminated because of begum Nusrat Bhuttos visit to their house at Chitral while his father was a government servant. .Shahzada zia uddin was inducted into Foreign Service by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. His services were also terminated by general Zia ul Haq the then Martial Law administrator and president of Pakistan.
Later on under supreme courts order he appeared before the federal public service commission and got the service of his choice which was the foreign service of Pakistan. He also determined to maintain services of his aunt Begum shahzada Sulaiman who have rendered meritorious services for the people of Chitral which are unforgettable for all times to come.
In this connection Zhahzada Ziauddin has opened a PPP office on his personal building in Chitral town. Earlier that PPP did not have its permanent office in Chitral for the last 45 years. The PPP workers have really appreciated this gesture. Mr. Ziauddin ali also believes that he has the capability and the resources to unite the peoples party of Chitral under one flag, that is the flag of PPP. Senior party workers and youngest Jialay highly welcome and appreciated Ziauddin decision who announced regarding joining of PPP.
